Nick Oram

Nick has been performing improvisation for almost 15 years, and teaches improvisation for Hoopla, the UK’s first improv theatre.

He has received training from many leading improvisers over the years, including with performers across the pond from the UCB, IO and Second City.

He is a winner of the Bafta Rocliffe TV Comedy Writing competition and his writing has been performed at the Southwark Playhouse, RADA and the Derby Theatre. He has also appeared on screen in BBC3’s Murder in Successville, BBC3’s Quickies, and was once an unwitting passerby in an Ian Hislop documentary about Princess Diana.

Outside improv, Nick runs literacy projects for children and young people at the National Literacy Trust.
